Nikki and Masa are some of the nicest people I've ever met. They are truly a joy to be around and I'm so glad they let me share in the wonderful experience that was their wedding day. June 26th, 2011 was a warm day in Monterey. The overcast clouds stuck mainly to the coast, but provided beautiful lighting when we needed them to. Ashley Wheeler assisted me on the day of the wedding and she is the greatest assistant anyone could ever ask for. She even came prepared with extra hair-ties! (Which I ended up having to use, of course!) Ashley - I couldn't have done it without you!!
The posed photos we shot before the ceremony with both families and the bridal party at Berwick Park. Then we moved down to the beach to get some more posed photos. After that, we all went to the ceremony site, the Old Whaling Station. The ceremony was beautiful. Masa's sister read a poem in Japanese that Nikki's brother translated into English. After the ceremony, there was food, speeches, and dancing!
I've thrown in some images Ashley took to this set I'm showing you. Thanks again, Ashley.
And thank you Nikki and Masa for letting me be a part of your special day. ♥
I wish the very best of luck to you, Nikki and Masa. You are both wonderful people.
