Annie and John's Beach BBQ and Wedding Rehearsal

A few months ago, I was contacted by Annie to accompany her and her friends and family to a beach bbq in San Luis Obispo county the day before her wedding to John. She was an incredibly sweet person through email, so I booked her for June 21st and made arrangements to stay in San Luis Obispo with a friend. My husband didn't want to stay here in San Jose by himself, so we packed up Dolly and all headed down for a little family trip.

Annie was even nicer in person. She and John are two of the kindest people I've ever met. And Annie is just way too adorable!

The bbq at Shamel Park in Cambria was fun. So much good food and lots of friends really made the morning special for Annie and John.
In the evening, we all headed to Paso Robles and had a nice afternoon and dinner at Creekside Farms.

Congratulations, Annie and John!

Boudoir Sessions

Recently, I've been getting more into boudoir photography. It's always a fun experience and I love giving women a chance to feel beautiful. Sometimes we forget to embrace our bodies and a boudoir session often helps remind you that you're sexy. I highly recommend booking one ASAP (even if it's not with me!) Your confidence will get a boost and you'll get some amazing pictures out of it!

Here are a few boudoir sessions I did recently. The first with model Kat was pin-up inspired with makeup by Rose Hill. The second with Rochelle and Sheena was glam inspired.

Feature: Fab You Bliss blog - Bohemian Fashion

Last Wednesday, Stephanie at Fab You Bliss featured an editorial I shot back in May with Haylee.

I met Haylee on Model Mayhem. Her versatile look is exactly what I seek in models for editorials. When I met her in San Mateo on a Spring-like day, I instantly knew she would be easy to work with. She's incredibly gorgeous, but her smile and kindness precede her beauty. We walked around Twin Pines Park for a bit and just soaked in the beauty. You forget that there are pockets of the Bay Area that aren't concrete when you work in the middle of the city, so it's nice to get out once in a while.

Here are some of my favorite images from our shoot. Enjoy!
